Our Story

With many years of early childhood education behind her, Melody Hoskinson began teaching and running a small faith-based preschool in the Marietta area. After nine successful years there, she and her staff felt God's leading to expand the program by adding a full day option to the preschool and K-4 classes along with kindergarten. This expansion led them to the Oak Grove Recreation Center (formerly known as Oak Grove Elementary School.)  After the first successful year at Oak Grove Christian School (OGCS), a combined first and second grade class was added. This year, OGCS  is pleased to announce that we have classes through SIXTH grade! Providing a quality education is a responsibility the staff and school board of OGCS take seriously, and being able to do that in a Christian environment is a privilege.
